The Cirk and Stageworx are thrilled to announce their first collaboration of MEAT LOAF – The Rebel Ride starring the incredible Yahto Kraft singing the discography of Meat Loaf, Directed by Timothy Le Roux.

This unique collaboration will showcase some of the greatest Meat Loaf hits, including classics such as “Bat Out of Hell,” “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That),” and “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” in addition to featured moments of some of the biggest Jim Steinman songs like “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “All Coming Back to Me Now.”

audiences can expect a truly unforgettable evening as Kraft’s powerhouse vocals bring these iconic songs to life, supported by the incredible circus acts from The Cirk – Cheree Simpson, Kelsey Minne, Kiowa Howes, Mohammed Aqueel and Nakita Santos and featured vocalists Jordyn Schaefer, Nozi Phehane, Oliver Kelfkens , Bulelo Landman (Stageworx Alumni) and the incredible Ntshikeng Matooane as well as additional Stageworx students. From high-flying acrobatics to mesmerizing fire performances, the show promises to be an explosion of energy in an immersive experience for all.

After sold out seasons at the National Arts Festival, Hilton Festival and The Cirk’s venue in Cresta, the producers of this exhilarating show have decided to bring audiences an even Better and Bigger version of URBAN CIRCUS.

URBAN CIRCUS is, at its throbbing organic heart, an acrobatic love letter to life in the city. Developed as a collaboration between the technical prowess of The Cirk, it’s incredibly skilled performers, and a magical narrative directed by Cirque du Soleil alumnus Daniel Buckland, Urban Circus uses acrobatics, acting, juggling and seamless ensemble work to take the audience on a tire-burning, nail-biting journey through a day in the city.

It’s a reminder of the magic hidden in the mundane, with acrobatic ecstasy waiting around every street corner. The spectacle of circus, the magic of theatre and the incredible choral power created by the Cirk team continues to excite and inspire the audiences it plays to.

Malcolm Manuel

“Malcolm Manuel born 20 September 1980 in Lenasia Johannesburg”

He began singing at the Age of 12 years old. His Journey started on a music competition called “STAIRWAY TO THE STARS” which aired on the then called BOP TV, where he took first place in the solo category.

He continued and did shows like “Felicia Mabuza” as well as “Jam Alley” and “Idols” to name a few.

He spent years sharing his Gift of music in local churches. He was also a runner up on one of the biggest gospel competition In South Africa “I Want To Sing Gospel”.

Working in the Private Business Sector for many years and doing Music, he then took a Leap of Faith and started writing his own Music.
